Ruth started her career in the Education and Training sector in 2009. She brings a range of experience to Smart Dental Academy, including knowledge of Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND), examinations, learning support, administration and data analysis. Additionally, in 2015, Ruth gained a BA (Hons) degree in Education from Liverpool Hope University.

These experiences have enabled her to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the needs of learners embarking on a new stage in their education and career.  She has a passion for supporting the academy to achieve the best possible outcomes for all learners. Alongside Steve Thompson, she is responsible for recruitment and administration within the academy.
